Compact AC Wall Charger for Sony NP-FZ100 PRO

This Kastar charger accepts NP-FZ100 and NP-FZ100 PRO cells used in Sony Alpha mirrorless bodies from the A7 III through the A7R V, plus the A1, FX3, FX30, ZV-E1, A6600 and A6700. It replaces the Sony BC-QZ1 and NPA-MQZ1K chargers and works with the VG-C3EM grip. Photographers and videographers who need a lightweight spare for travel will find it fits the existing battery ecosystem.

Plug-in operation with foldable pins

The unit plugs directly into any AC outlet from 100 V to 240 V at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, so no separate power brick or cable is required. Foldable flat pins lie flush against the body for packing. A red LED shows charging in progress; a green LED signals standby or full charge. The only common mistake is leaving the pins folded while inserting the charger, which prevents contact.

Fixed 600 mA charge rate and single-slot design

Output is locked at 8.4 V and 600 mA, so a depleted NP-FZ100 PRO cell takes several hours to reach full capacity. Only one battery charges at a time, which limits turnaround on multi-camera shoots. There is no USB output, car-adapter input or fast-charge mode, so users needing simultaneous or quicker top-ups must look elsewhere.
