What this charger does and who needs it

The Kastar NP-FZ100 PRO is a mains-powered charger for Sony NP-FZ100 and NP-FZ100 PRO lithium-ion batteries. It accepts AC 100-240V at 50-60Hz and delivers a DC 8.4V 600mA output. The unit is aimed at photographers and videographers who use compatible Sony Alpha and Cinema cameras and want a compact spare or replacement charger.

Check your battery and camera compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that you own a Sony NP-FZ100 or NP-FZ100 PRO battery. The charger also works with the original Sony BC-QZ1 and NPA-MQZ1K chargers. Supported cameras include the Alpha 1, Alpha 7R V, FX3, FX30, Alpha 7 IV, Alpha 7R IV, Alpha 7C II, Alpha 6600, Alpha 6700 and ZV-E1, plus the VG-C3EM grip.

What the foldable plug and LED indicator change

The foldable flat pin reduces the charger's profile for packing in a bag. A built-in LED shows red while the battery is charging and switches to green when the cell reaches full charge or enters standby, so you can see the status at a glance without extra software.
