Quadruple USB charger for Canon BP-808, BP-809.

This Kastar charger powers four compatible Canon camcorder batteries simultaneously. It accepts Micro-USB or USB Type-C input and includes a Type-C cable. The unit swaps charging plates to match different battery models. It suits videographers who need multiple batteries ready for extended shoots.

Intelligent display with 15 W input and variable

The charger draws up to 15 W at 5 V and shows real-time charging status and battery capacity on its built-in display. Output is 8.4 V at 800 mA for one or two batteries, dropping to 500 mA each when three or four are charging. The compact body measures 3.5 by 2 by 2.5 inches and runs without fan noise.

Plate-swap design frees outlets

Interchangeable plates let you charge mixed BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 cells in one dock, removing the need for separate chargers. Dual USB inputs mean you can power it from a wall adapter, power bank or laptop port. Not for users who require simultaneous fast charging at full current for all four slots.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Kastar quadruple charger and which step is most often missed?

Connect the supplied Type-C cable to either the Micro-USB or Type-C input on the charger, then plug the other end into a 5 V 2–3 A power source; the step users miss is confirming the source actually delivers 15 W so all four bays can run at full current.

What maintenance or replacement will the charger need later?

The Type-C cable and the interchangeable battery plates are the only wear items; keep spare plates for BP-808, BP-809, BP-819 or BP-827 packs and replace the cable if the connector loosens.

What limit appears first when all four bays are used continuously?

With four batteries inserted the charger drops each bay to 500 mA at 8.4 V, so total output power becomes the limiting factor before any thermal throttle.
