Quadruple NP-FW50 charger

The Kastar Quadruple USB Charger NP-FW50 powers up to four Sony NP-FW50 compatible batteries at once. It targets photographers and videographers using Alpha mirrorless or Cyber-shot cameras who need multiple packs ready for long shoots. The unit ships without batteries and focuses purely on charging convenience.

USB-C and Micro-USB input with status display

Connect the charger via the supplied Type-C cable or a Micro-USB source rated for 5V 2-3A 15W. The intelligent display shows each slot’s charging state and remaining capacity. Swappable plates let you adapt the cradle for other battery types, but the NP-FW50 plate is the one fitted out of the box.

Staggered current under sustained load

When one or two batteries are inserted the output delivers 8.4V at 800mA per slot; with three or four batteries the current drops to 500mA each to manage heat. This means full sets charge more slowly than pairs, so plan charging cycles accordingly for back-to-back sessions.
