100 W ceramic heater kit

The KEHIPI 100 W soldering kit uses a plug-in ceramic heating core that reaches working temperature in 15 seconds. A digital LED display lets you set any value from 180 °C to 500 °C and switch between °C and °F. The pen-style iron has four ventilation holes and a steel tube for cooler handling, plus a spiral cord strain relief and a silicone grip.

Temperature range and headroom

The 180 °C to 500 °C span covers delicate PCB work, phone repair, jewellery and general electronics assembly. At the upper end it handles larger joints such as TV capacitors or guitar wiring without slowing down. Very heavy gauge wire or large thermal masses may exceed the 100 W input, so extended high-power sessions could see temperature droop.

Upgrade from basic irons

This kit replaces fixed-temperature pencils and low-wattage stations that lack calibration or a child-lock. The password lock and fast heat-up make it worthwhile when safety around children or quick changeovers matter. Buyers who need more continuous power for large chassis work or production-line speed should look at higher-wattage bench stations.
