The KEHIPI webcam uses a 1/4 inch OV5648 colour CMOS sensor delivering 5 megapixel still resolution. It connects via USB 2.0 and draws up to 300 mA at 5 V. UVC compliance means it works on Windows 7, 8, 10, Linux and Mac without extra drivers. A built‑in microphone and 1 metre cable complete the package.

Upgrade from Basic Built‑In Cameras

Many laptops and monitors only offer VGA or 720p sensors with narrow fields of view. This module steps up to 2592 x 1944 stills and supports MJPG at 30 fps up to 1920 x 1080. The 95 degree horizontal lens and IR‑cut filter give wider, colour‑accurate coverage for surveillance, streaming or conferencing where the integrated camera falls short.
