Ready-to-use eight-pack

The KEHIPI 888S and 666S two-way radios arrive as a complete set of eight units, each operating on UHF frequencies with 16 channels and 165 privacy codes. Built-in VOX with five sensitivity levels, noise reduction, scan, monitor, TOT, emergency alarm, squelch, low-battery alert, power-saving mode and an LED flashlight handle everyday communication without extra accessories.

Step up from basic pairs

Moving from a simple two-pack to this eight-unit kit adds enough handsets for a full crew and extends usable range to 3 miles in open terrain, 1.2 miles in suburbs and .6 miles in dense city blocks. The jump is worth it when a single pair leaves team members out of touch or when privacy codes are needed to keep conversations separate.

Fits crew-based activities

Each radio carries a 1500mAh lithium cell delivering up to 120 hours standby or 12 hours continuous talk time, rechargeable in 3 to 4 hours. The pack suits events, worksites or outdoor groups that need every person equipped at once, while the water-resistant build tolerates splashes and rain. Buyers who need more than eight units or require VHF frequencies should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What battery capacity and type does each 888S and 666S radio use?

Each unit uses a 1500mAh lithium-ion battery that charges in 3-4 hours and delivers up to 120 hours standby or 12 hours continuous talk time.

How do I pair the included headsets for hands-free VOX operation on these radios?

Plug each headset into the radio's accessory jack, then set one of the 5 VOX sensitivity levels so the mic activates only when you speak.

When will the 1500mAh lithium-ion batteries need replacement and how do I swap them?

Expect several hundred charge cycles; when run-time drops noticeably, open the battery compartment, remove the old pack, and insert a new 1500mAh Li-ion pack.
