8MP IMX219 USB Autofocus Camera
The KEHIPI webcam uses a 1/4” 8MP IMX219 sensor delivering up to 3264 x 2448 stills and 1080p video at 30 fps. It connects via USB 2.0 with UVC compliance so Windows, Linux, macOS and Android recognise it without extra drivers. A built-in microphone captures audio alongside video. The metal case measures 44 x 25 x 44 mm and weighs 0.091 kg.
Metal Case and 1 m Cable
The supplied aluminium housing includes a rotatable bracket for desk, wall or tripod mounting. A fixed 1 m USB cable is attached, removing the need for a separate lead. Autofocus adjusts from close-up to infinity without manual tools, replacing the fixed-focus modules common on basic board cameras. The package contains only the camera and cable.
Makers and Streamers Needing Simple UVC Video
This unit suits Raspberry Pi, Jetson Nano, 3D-printer monitoring, home security or video calls where a compact, driver-free camera is required. Buyers who want more storage, internal recording or wireless connectivity should look elsewhere. Users needing a wider field of view than 60° horizontal or higher frame rates at full 8MP resolution will find the spec limiting.

Questions about this item
Will the autofocus mechanism on the IMX219 sensor wear out or need recalibration over time?
The camera uses an autofocus lens controlled automatically without a manual adjustment tool; no maintenance schedule or recalibration procedure is specified by the manufacturer.
What is the first limitation reached during continuous streaming at the highest resolution?
At the maximum 3264 x 2448 resolution the frame rate is capped at 15 fps in MJPG format, so sustained high-resolution capture is limited by that frame-rate ceiling.
How much heat does the metal case generate when the webcam runs all day on USB power?
The device operates from -20 °C to +70 °C and draws power solely from the USB 2.0 connection; no separate heat-dissipation rating or surface-temperature figure is provided.
