The KEHIPI AU608 converts optical Toslink digital audio signals to analogue RCA output. It supports sample rates of 32, 44.1, 48, 96 and 192 kHz with 24-bit SPDIF bitstreams. A built-in amplifier chip boosts the RCA signal for clear sound and automatically mutes when no input is present. The unit includes a 2.1 m integrated RCA cable for immediate connection.

Suitable for stereo systems only

This converter is designed for users who need to connect a digital optical source such as a TV, Blu-ray player or games console to an analogue amplifier or powered speakers. It requires the source device to output PCM audio and will not decode 5.1 channel formats such as DTS or Dolby Digital. Buyers who require multichannel surround decoding or HDMI audio extraction should look at a different device.

Handles standard stereo PCM up to 192 kHz

The DAC comfortably processes two-channel PCM streams at all listed sample rates, providing ample headroom for high-resolution stereo material from disc players or streaming devices.
