Studio condenser bundle for vocal
The KEHIPI BM-800 bundle supplies a cardioid large-diaphragm condenser microphone plus a scissor arm, shock mount, double-layer pop filter, foam cap, sound card and XLR cable. It is intended for home-studio recording, podcasting, voice-over and streaming where a complete kit simplifies setup.
Sustained-session behaviour with low self-noise
The microphone exhibits a self-noise of 16 dB-A and a signal-to-noise ratio of 78 dB, so background hiss stays low during long takes. Maximum SPL handling reaches 132 dB at 1 kHz with 1 % THD, allowing loud sources such as brass or amplified cabinets to be recorded cleanly without overload distortion over extended periods.
XLR interface limits and phantom-power dependency
The 3-pin XLR output requires an external phantom-power supply or the included sound card; it will not operate on plug-in power alone. Sensitivity is rated at -34 dB ±2 dB with a recommended load impedance of 1000 ohms or higher, and the supplied 2.5 m cable sets the practical placement range without additional extension.

Questions about this item
How quiet is the BM-800 when recording all day in a home studio?
The microphone has a self-noise level of 16 dB-A and a signal-to-noise ratio of 78 dB, so background hiss stays very low during long sessions.
What extra hardware do I need to connect the XLR output to my computer?
You will need an audio interface or external sound card with a 3-pin XLR input and at least 1000 ohms load impedance to power and digitise the signal.
Will the 8.2 ft XLR cable reach my interface if it sits on the floor beside my desk?
The supplied cable is 2.5 metres long, which typically covers the distance from a desk-mounted boom arm to a floor-standing interface.
