Portable duplicator for laptops and desktops

The KEHIPI BT524 is a 2 in 1 external DVD duplicator that reads and writes CDs and DVDs without an internal bay. It connects through USB 3.0 and includes a USB A to C adapter, a power-supply cable and a carrying case. The drive suits users who need optical media support on modern ultra-slim notebooks, MacBook, iMac, Windows 11/10/8/7/XP, Vista, Linux or Mac OS systems.

Single-cable operation with hub and card slots

The unit draws power from the host USB port and the extra power cable covers hosts that cannot supply enough current. Its built-in hub adds SD and TF card readers, freeing a second port on the computer. No driver installation is required; the duplicator is recognised automatically once plugged in.

Sustained 24x CD and 8x DVD writes

A 2 MB buffer smooths data flow during long burns, keeping the 5 gigabits_per_second USB 3.0 link fed without underruns. Error correction and anti-skid mechanisms maintain steady throughput across full discs, while quiet operation keeps noise low during extended sessions.

Questions about this item

How long can I burn at 24x CD or 8x DVD before the drive slows down?

The drive has a 2 MB buffer to absorb short bursts, but sustained write speed will drop once that buffer fills during long sessions.

Does the drive get loud or hot when it runs for hours?

The manufacturer highlights quiet operation and anti-skid capability; no active cooling is fitted so the aluminium chassis dissipates heat passively.

What ports must my computer already have to use this duplicator?

You need a USB 3.0 Type-A or Type-C port; a USB-A-to-C adapter and a supplemental power cable are included for low-power ports.
