The KEHIPI CH72801 is a pass-through crimping kit built for installers who terminate RJ45 and RJ11 connectors on site. It combines stripping, crimping and cutting in a tool roughly two-thirds the size of traditional crimpers, so it fits in tight panels and reduces hand fatigue during long runs. The kit includes 50 Cat5e pass-through connectors, 50 protective covers, a mini yellow stripper, spare blades and a 6P/8P cable tester.

Upgrade From Standard Crimpers

This kit replaces separate strippers, crimpers and testers with a single pass-through tool that cuts excess conductors while crimping, raising first-time success rates on Cat7, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat5 and Cat5e cables. The jump is worth it when you regularly field-terminate shielded or unshielded 8-position connectors and need to verify continuity, shorts or miswires before closing a job. It does not serve buyers who require powered PoE circuit validation or automated certification reports.

Install And Common Issues

The crimper uses high-carbon steel blades with a quenched finish that stay sharp through repeated cycles, and the ergonomic grips prevent slipping during compression. Insert the prepared cable through the connector, squeeze once to trim and crimp, then snap the tester’s main and remote units onto each end for a quick LED sequence check. The tester requires one 9 V 6F22 battery, which is not supplied, and the tool does not validate PoE wiring, so a separate analyser is needed for powered Ethernet circuits.
