Webcam with Sony sensor and remote

The KEHIPI DW50 Pro is a 4K webcam built around a 1/2.55 Sony CMOS sensor delivering 3840x2160 resolution at 30fps. It targets streamers, remote workers and educators who need crisp video for Teams, Zoom, OBS or Google Meet. The grey unit includes dual noise-canceling microphones and a supplied USB Type C adapter for broad OS compatibility. It is not suited for buyers who want optical zoom or 60fps 4K capture.

Plug-and-play setup with remote quirks

The camera draws power and data over USB and works without drivers on Windows Vista through 11 and Mac OS. A compact remote controls 3X digital zoom, focus mode, exposure, saturation, mirroring and microphone mute from a distance. The zoom function only activates at 1080P resolution, so 4K users lose that control. Auto-focus can hunt in very low light despite the f/1.2 aperture.

USB video limits and fixed field of view

Video travels over a standard USB connection, capping bandwidth to typical UVC limits; 4K at 30fps is the ceiling. The lens offers a fixed wide angle with no interchangeable optics, so you cannot narrow the field for tight headshots. Digital zoom crops the 12-megapixel sensor, reducing detail at 3X. There is no hardware privacy shutter or onboard memory for settings.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 3840x2160 UHD image is displaying correctly after connecting the USB cable?

Open your video software and verify the preview shows 4K at 30fps; the auto-focus should lock on your face within seconds and the dual noise-canceling mics will register clear audio on the input meter.

Which accessories are included with the DW50 Pro and what must I provide separately?

The box contains the webcam, remote control, and a USB Type C adapter for newer laptops; you only need to supply a compatible USB port and your preferred streaming or meeting application.

Should I choose the 4K or 1080P mode if I want to use the 3X digital zoom during calls?

Select 1080P resolution because the 3X digital zoom function is only available at that setting; at 4K the zoom control on the remote will not activate.
