The KEHIPI FC9208A is a heavy-duty shoulder microphone built for professionals who need hands-free communication with compatible two-way radios. Its K-head plug connects directly to supported Retevis, Baofeng, Kenwood and partner models so users can talk and listen without removing the radio from a belt or pack. A 40 mm speaker delivers loud, clear receive audio in noisy environments.

IP54-rated cable and connector limits

The microphone carries an IP54 rating, meaning it resists dust ingress and water splashes but is not submersible. The 3.5 mm audio jack on the housing accepts a single-earpiece headset for private listening, yet the jack itself shares the same splash protection and should not be exposed to heavy rain or immersion. The reinforced PU cable stretches to accommodate movement but remains a wired tether to the radio.

Replaces handheld mic use for patrol

This unit replaces the practice of holding a radio to the mouth, freeing both hands for driving, equipment handling or pursuit.
