Compact FRS two-pack for teams

The KEHIPI H-777 4.0 ships as a pair of licence-free FRS radios with 16 channels and a stated range of 1.5 miles. Each unit weighs 115 grams and measures 2.35 in x 1.37 in x 6.69 in, so they fit easily on a belt or in a pocket. The 1000 mAh lithium-ion cell delivers up to 12 hours of continuous use. Designed for crews that need instant push-to-talk without mobile coverage.

Speaker mic and shortcut keys

A shoulder microphone clips to each radio for hands-free operation while moving or working. Shortcut buttons activate VOX voice-triggered transmit, an LED flashlight and an emergency alarm with a single press. The 4.0 firmware remains compatible with earlier 2.0 and 3.0 units on the same channel, and also talks to models such as RT22, RT27, RT68, RT15, RT19 and RT21 without reprogramming.

16-channel FRS limit

The radios operate on the 16 pre-set FRS frequencies only; they cannot be programmed to GMRS, business or marine channels. Buyers who need more channels, repeater capability or water-resistant housings should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery need recharging during a full day of use?

The battery provides up to 12 hours of continuous operation, so a single charge typically lasts a full work shift or day hike.

At what distance does the 1.5 mile FRS range limit reliable communication?

The rated range is 1.5 miles; actual coverage drops sooner in built-up or heavily wooded areas.

How warm does the radio get and how loud is the cooling when it runs all day with the speaker mic attached?

The unit has no internal fan and relies on passive heat dissipation; it stays cool to the touch and operates silently during extended use.
