8MP 4K webcam for streamers and remote workers

The KEHIPI H8 captures video at 3840 by 2558 pixels using a 3.2 inch CMOS sensor. It delivers 4K at 15 frames per second or 1080p at 30 frames per second. The fixed-focus prime lens keeps setup simple for desktop and laptop users. USB power means no external adapter is required.

Resolution and frame-rate headroom

At 4K the camera runs at 15 fps, which is suitable for static scenes and presentations. For smoother motion the 1080p 30 fps mode handles video calls and streaming comfortably. The fixed focus cannot adjust for extreme close-ups or very distant subjects. Low-light performance is supported but not quantified in the data.

Privacy shutter tripod and dual microphones

A sliding privacy cover blocks the lens physically when the camera is not in use. The included mini tripod and mounting clip allow placement on a desk or monitor at multiple angles. Dual noise-reducing microphones pick up voice from up to 12 feet away. The 1.8 metre USB 2.0 cable provides flexible positioning without extra drivers.

Questions about this item

Will the H8 webcam's USB 2.0 connection work with an older laptop that only has USB 2.0 ports?

Yes, the webcam uses a USB 2.0 interface and draws power directly from the port, so it operates on older laptops without needing an external power adapter or a newer USB standard.

How can I confirm the H8 is actually capturing 4K video at 15 fps after I plug it in?

Open your streaming or recording software, select the H8 as the video source, and set the resolution to 3840 by 2558; the software's on-screen stats should then report a frame rate of 15 fps.

Does the H8 package include the privacy shutter, tripod and a 6 ft USB cable, or must I buy any of those separately?

The box contains the 4K webcam with fixed focus, a privacy cover, a mini tripod, a 1.8 m (6 ft) USB cable and a manual, so no extra accessories are required for basic use.
