Five-Input HDMI 2.1 Switch

This aluminium switch routes five HDMI sources to a single display, letting a home-theatre or gaming setup keep consoles, streaming sticks and a laptop connected without cable swapping. It supports 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz, plus HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and HDCP 2.3 for protected content. The unit includes a remote control and an external power adapter for stable operation.

Cable-length limits for full bandwidth

To achieve the rated 8K 60 Hz signal the input cables must stay within 1 m and the output cable within 2 m; longer runs will drop to lower resolutions or refresh rates. The HDMI 2.1 interface provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth, but that throughput is only guaranteed inside the stated cable-length window. VRR pass-through is supported for variable-refresh gaming when the source and display both allow it.

5-in-1 port count decides fit

The defining specification is the five HDMI inputs feeding one output — if your installation needs more than five sources or requires a second simultaneous display, this switch cannot meet that requirement. It weighs 0.48 kg and measures 16.5 in by 5.6 in by 2.1 in, so rack or shelf space should be checked before purchase.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 5-in-1-out model over a 3-in-1-out for my PS5, Xbox, Switch, Roku and laptop?

Yes — the 25127 gives you five HDMI inputs so all five devices stay connected at once, while a 3-in-1-out would leave two devices unplugged.

What does the 8K@60Hz headline mean when I hook it up to my TV?

It delivers up to 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 60 Hz or 1080p at 240 Hz, provided input cables are 1 m or shorter and the output cable is 2 m or shorter.

How does the HDMI 2.1 interface cap performance in practice?

HDMI 2.1 enables 40 Gbps bandwidth, VRR and HDCP 2.3, so 8K@60Hz and 4K@240Hz work within the stated cable-length limits.
