Driver-Free Push-Button Switching

Installation requires connecting the supplied 59-inch cables to each computer and plugging peripherals into the front ports. The switch is powered by the host USB ports; high-draw devices such as large mechanical drives may need an external 5 V adapter which is not included. Switching takes one to two seconds via the top button with an LED indicator.

USB 3.0 Bandwidth Limit

The switch passes USB 3.0 signals with a theoretical ceiling of 500 MB/s, though real-world throughput typically falls between 100 and 200 MB/s depending on the attached device.
