Questions about this item

How does the 22 lb weight rating affect everyday use with a 17 inch laptop?

The stand is rated to hold up to 22 lbs, so a typical 17 inch laptop well within that limit will be supported securely on the ventilated tray.

What desk thicknesses can the C-clamp and grommet mount actually accommodate?

The heavy-duty C-clamp fits desks up to 3.4 inches thick, while the optional grommet mount works on surfaces up to 3 inches thick.

What are the exact tray dimensions I need to clear for mounting?

The ventilated tray measures 14 by 11.8 inches, so allow at least that footprint plus room for the articulating arm to swing.
