What it is and who it is for

This LED strip light combines red green blue and cool white emitters in a single 5050 package. It suits DIY decorators who want colour-changing accents plus a pure white option for task lighting in bedrooms or kitchens.

Capacity and headroom

The reel runs 16.4 feet with 60 LEDs per metre giving 300 RGB and 300 white diodes. Power draw ranges from 30 to 120 watts depending on how many channels are active; running all four colours at maximum is not recommended for long periods.

Build quality and daily use

IP30 rating means the strip is non-waterproof and intended for dry indoor surfaces. The 12 mm white FPCB carries 5-pin connectors on both ends for series linking and every three LEDs can be cut. A 12 V DC supply and compatible RGBW controller must be purchased separately.

Questions about this item

Will the 12 V strip share a power supply with my existing 12 V LED modules?

Yes, both run on DC12V so a single 12 V supply can feed them if total wattage stays within the supply rating.

How can I confirm the 6000 K–7000 K cool white is actually emitting after installation?

Set the controller to white-only mode; the strip should show a crisp cool white at 6000 K–7000 K without any colour tint.

Does the 5 m reel include a controller or power supply, or must I buy them separately?

The reel comes with pre-soldered 5-pin connectors on both ends; a DC12V power supply and compatible RGBW controller are not included and must be purchased separately.
