Purpose-built 4K USB webcam

The KEHIPI NOVA 4K is an 8.3-megapixel webcam that captures 4K video at 30 FPS through a USB 2.0 Type-A connection. It uses PDAF autofocus within a fixed range of 7.9118 inches, dual noise-cancelling microphones and automatic light correction. A 73° field of view and an integrated privacy cover complete the feature set.

Best for fixed-position calls, not for close-ups

Designed for desktop users who sit at a consistent distance from the camera during meetings, lessons or streams. Buyers who need manual focus control, facial tracking, an adjustable field of view or a wider angle for group shots should look at something else. The fixed focus range also rules out extreme close-up work.

8.3 MP sensor with 30 FPS 4K output

The single specification that determines suitability is the 8.3-megapixel CMOS sensor delivering 4K resolution at 30 frames per second over USB 2.0. Default output is 1080P; switching to 4K requires the companion software or apps such as PotPlayer or OBS.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy a mount or cable separately?

The webcam ships with a fixed USB 2.0 Type-A cable and an integrated privacy cover. No separate cable or mount purchase is required for standard desktop or monitor placement.

The specs list 4K at 30 FPS and a default of 1080P — which mode should I choose for daily meetings?

Use the default 1080P for broad platform compatibility and lower bandwidth. Switch to 4K at 30 FPS via the built-in camera software or apps like OBS when you need maximum detail for recordings or high-end streams.

How does the 73° field of view and 7.9118-inch focus range perform on a typical desk?

The fixed 73° FOV captures a single user comfortably at arm's length. PDAF autofocus keeps faces sharp within the 7.9118-inch working distance, but it cannot track movement or focus closer than that range.
