Stackable banana plug to alligator clip test lead with 127 copper wires, 1m length and 15A rating
This 4 mm stackable banana plug to alligator clip lead connects multimeters, power supplies and other electronic equipment for electrical testing. The stackable plug design lets you add further leads without removing the first, useful in schools, laboratories and automotive repair. The cable is 1 m or 3.3 ft long and rated for 1000 V and 15 A.
The conductor uses 127 copper wires of 0.1 mm diameter for maximum signal transmission and reliable connections. This replaces thinner or solid-core leads that can fatigue or oxidise over time. The jump is worth it when you need consistent low-resistance readings during repeated bench or field measurements.
The nylon-braided rope jacket and insulated plastic cover provide electrical insulation up to the stated 1000 V rating; exceeding that voltage compromises safety. The 4 mm banana plug and crocodile clip interface fits standard multimeter jacks but cannot mate with smaller 2 mm connectors or proprietary terminals. The 1 m length limits reach between bench instruments and the device under test.

The lead terminates in a 4 mm stackable banana plug that inserts into any standard 4 mm banana jack on a multimeter or power supply.
Attach the crocodile clip to the test point first, then plug the banana end into the instrument; the common mistake is inserting the plug while the clip is loose, which can bridge live conductors.
Replace the lead if the insulation is cracked or the 127 strands of 0.1 mm copper wire become visible, as this degrades the 15 A / 1000 V rating and signal integrity.
