Six-pack MURS radios for teams

The KEHIPI RT27V ships as a six-unit set of licence-free MURS two-way radios built for crews who need instant push-to-talk coordination across farms, construction sites, logistics yards or rescue operations. Each handset fits in a palm and weighs 0.33 lb, so a full shift stays comfortable on a belt clip or hand strap.

MURS band limits and antenna gain

The radios operate on the five MURS channels with 50 CTCSS and 105 DCS codes to filter unwanted traffic, but the band itself caps transmit power and range by regulation. A 6.5 mm longer antenna on this revision adds roughly 300 m of urban reach, and the detachable connector lets you swap in a higher-gain or vehicle antenna when the stock whip hits its practical ceiling.

Battery life and charging headroom

An 1100 mAh lithium cell delivers 10 to 12 hours at a 10 percent transmit, 90 percent standby duty cycle, covering most full-day shifts without a top-up. The included six-bay gang charger replenishes the whole fleet from empty in one session, yet heavy-talk days or cold weather will drain cells faster, so plan a midday swap if continuous transmission climbs well above the rated mix.
