KEHIPI RT628 Kids Two-Way Radio Pair

The KEHIPI RT628 is a pair of licence-free FRS two-way radios designed for children aged four and up. Each unit weighs 82 grams and measures 160 by 55 by 28 millimetres, making them easy for small hands to hold. The set provides 22 selectable channels so families can find a clear frequency for outdoor play, camping trips or neighbourhood games. A simple push-to-talk button and keypad lock keep communication instant and settings secure.

Ready for Immediate Outdoor Use

Each radio operates on three AA batteries, which are not included, so no charging dock or cable is required before heading out. The compact 2.17 by 1.1 by 6.3 inch form factor slips into a pocket or clips to a belt, freeing children from bulky devices while they explore. Ten selectable call tones let users signal friends without shouting, and the auto-squelch function reduces background hiss on busy channels. VOX hands-free sensitivity can be adjusted from level one to nine for quiet play scenarios.

Steady Performance During Extended Play

The radios maintain a reliable link up to one kilometre in open terrain, keeping parents and children connected throughout an afternoon of activity. A backlit LCD shows channel, battery status and transmit icons at a glance, even as daylight fades. The housing is rated to survive drops from 1.2 metres, so repeated knocks on the trail do not interrupt operation. Clear audio persists in noisy environments thanks to the built-in microphone and automatic gain control.
