Solar Power Manager for 6 V–24 V Panels

The KEHIPI Solar Power Manager Module (D) accepts 6 V to 24 V solar panels or a USB Type-C adapter to charge a single 3.7 V lithium cell held in the onboard holder. It delivers a regulated 5 V/3 A output that negotiates multiple fast-charge protocols for attached loads. The board measures 2.0 in on each side and weighs 0.054 kg.

MPPT Efficiency Within the 6 V–24 V Window

Maximum Power Point Tracking operates only while the panel voltage stays inside the 6 V–24 V range; outside this window the controller cannot optimise harvest. The DC-002 jack and screw terminal both include anti-reverse protection, but the module provides no boost or buck conversion for panels that fall below 6 V or exceed 24 V. Thermal, over-current, over-charge and over-discharge circuits shut the output down when limits are reached.

Replaces Separate Charge Controller

Builders who previously wired a discrete MPPT charger, a protection board and a 5 V boost converter can consolidate those functions into this single module. The jump is worth it when a project needs a compact, all-in-one solution for a 3.7 V cell and 5 V rail, but it does not suit systems requiring higher battery voltages, multi-cell management or input voltages beyond 24 V.
