Converts 48V PoE to 5V 2.4A micro USB power and 100Mbps data over 100m Ethernet runs for Raspberry Pi, cameras and tablets
The KEHIPI U5159 is a Power over Ethernet splitter that converts 48V PoE input into 5V 2.4A micro USB power while passing 10/100Mbps data through an RJ45 port. It is built for tablets, cameras, Raspberry Pi 2 or 3B+, and similar micro USB devices that sit beyond AC outlet reach. An IEEE 802.3af compliant switch or 48V injector is required to operate the unit.
The adapter provides 2.5kV isolation and accepts 44-57V DC input with overvoltage protection. It supports PoE pinouts on 1/2(+/-), 3/6(-/+) or 4/5(+), 7/8(-) for broad switch compatibility. A single Ethernet cable delivers both data and power up to 100-150m (328-492ft), removing the need for a nearby wall adapter and freeing a PoE port for micro USB use.
This splitter replaces a standard USB power brick when a PoE switch or injector is already present and the device is 100m or more from mains power. It is not suited for gigabit-only networks — the U515902 model is recommended for those speeds — nor for hardware that demands USB-C or higher than 2.4A current. Buyers needing 12V output or gigabit throughput should select a different model.

The RJ45 port delivers 10/100 Mbps data transfer, so the link caps at 100 megabits per second in practice.
The unit measures 8.0 in x 1.5 in x 5.0 in and weighs 60 grams, so allow at least that footprint plus cable bend radius for the RJ45 and micro USB connectors.
Connect an IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or 48 V injector to the RJ45 input, then plug the micro USB output into the device; the step often missed is confirming the source provides 44–57 V DC, because a non-compliant injector will not power the splitter.
