A five-pack of 38.2-inch dual-ended test leads rated 1500 V and 15 A with copper alligator clips that open to 10 mm and insulated boots for hands-free circuit testing
The pack contains five alligator-to-alligator leads built for bench work, automotive checks and laboratory circuits. Each lead measures 38.2 inches and uses soft silicone insulation over a 4 mm wire. Copper clips open to 0.4 inches or 10 mm and are fitted with insulating boots to reduce accidental shorts. The set suits technicians, students and hobbyists who need quick, hands-free connections.
Copper clamps and thick silicone wire keep voltage drop minimal while the insulation remains flexible in cold or hot environments. The boots cover the clip jaws so adjacent conductors are less likely to bridge during dense probing. Rated for 1500 V and 15 A, the leads run cool at typical test currents and add no audible noise to sensitive measurements.
This single rating decides whether the set matches the circuit under test. Buyers who need higher current capacity or a different voltage rating should look elsewhere. The fixed 38.2-inch length and 0.4-inch jaw opening also define the reach and grip range for every application.

Squeeze each clip to its 10 mm maximum opening, seat the copper jaws firmly on the test point, then slide the supplied insulator boot fully over the jaws before energising the circuit.
Replace any lead whose silicone jacket shows cracks, whose copper jaws no longer close to the full 10 mm gap, or whose crimp joint feels loose when tugged gently.
The 15 A current rating is the binding limit; continuous loads above 15 A will overheat the 4 mm silicone-insulated conductors before the 1500 V insulation margin is reached.
