Share four USB 3.0 peripherals between two computers with a single push-button switch and LED status indication
The KEHIPI USB-3.0-CS-4NW is a USB 3.0 KVM switch that lets two computers share four peripheral devices. A push button on the unit toggles the active PC, and green or blue LED indicators show which system is connected. The switch is driver-free on Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS, Linux and Chrome OS.
The device draws power from the host ports for low-power peripherals such as keyboards, mice or flash drives. When a high-power device such as an external HDD or SSD is attached, a separate 5 V adapter must be connected to maintain stable operation. The unit is rated for 4.6 A at 5 V, providing headroom for multiple simultaneous devices.
The switch uses USB 3.0 connectors and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 peripherals. Bandwidth is shared among the four downstream ports, so total throughput depends on the mix of active devices. Cable length and host controller quality also affect real-world transfer rates.

It runs on 5 volts and draws up to 4.6 amps only when high-power peripherals are attached; with typical keyboard and mouse loads the switch stays cool and consumes negligible power.
The box includes two USB 3.0 cables for the upstream PC links; you only need the standard USB cables that came with your four peripherals.
Yes, the switch is backward compatible with USB 2.0, so legacy printers, scanners and other 2.0 devices share the four ports happily with 3.0 gear.
