A USB 3.0 switch lets two computers share four peripherals with one-button switching and optional micro-USB power for external drives
This USB 3.0 switch lets two computers share four peripheral ports with a single button press. It removes the need to unplug cables or configure network sharing software for common desktop accessories. The compact hub suits home offices, small studios or any desk where two systems sit side by side. It works with both Windows and Mac platforms without extra drivers.
The four downstream ports accept keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, card readers, flash drives and headsets simultaneously. Switching moves all four connections to the other computer in one action, so a print job or file transfer stays on the correct machine. Bus power handles most devices, while a Micro-USB power input is available when an external hard drive demands more current than the host ports supply.
A tactile push button on the top panel toggles control instantly with no software latency. The metal-shell housing resists daily knocks and keeps the four Type-A ports firmly aligned. Two upstream Type-B cables connect the host PCs, and the optional Micro-USB socket adds supplementary power without occupying a downstream port. Cable routing stays tidy because all connections face the same direction.

The Micro USB port is only used for supplemental power when a connected external hard disk needs extra current; it is a passive connector with no moving parts and no user-serviceable components inside the unit.
The switch provides four downstream USB 3.0 ports shared between two computers; total bandwidth and available bus power are split among whatever devices are connected at the same time.
The unit has no fan and no active cooling; it runs silently and stays at ambient temperature because it only routes USB signals and optional supplemental power.
