Product Identity

The Kensington 72356 is a wired optical mouse with a USB interface and three buttons. Its symmetrical shape suits left- and right-handed users alike, and the optical sensor removes the need for ball cleaning. Plug-and-play operation works on both Windows and Mac systems without extra drivers.

Suitability

Office workers and home users who need a simple, reliable pointing device will find this model adequate. Buyers who want extra programmable buttons, adjustable DPI settings, wireless freedom or an ergonomic sculpted form should look at other options.

Deciding Specification

The USB wired connection means the mouse draws power directly from the port and requires no batteries or charging. This makes it a dependable choice for fixed workstations where a constant link is preferred over mobility.
