Chartreuse KeyFolio Exact 9.7

The Kensington Chartreuse KeyFolio Exact K97093US is a keyboard and cover case designed for 9.7-inch internet tablets. A form-fitting basket secures the device while a magnetic clasp keeps the folio closed. The slim profile adds protection without significant bulk, and the cover wakes the tablet automatically when opened. A built-in stylus holder keeps a pen accessible.

Removable Bluetooth keyboard sustained use

The island-style keyboard connects via Bluetooth and pairs with the tablet for extended typing sessions. Six rows of raised tactile keys provide a laptop-like feel during prolonged work. The keyboard detaches from the folio, allowing it to be used on a lap or separate surface without holding the combined weight. Multiple Bluetooth devices can remain paired for quick switching.

Upgrades from basic slip cases

This folio replaces simple sleeves or screen protectors that lack input capability and viewing flexibility. The jump is worthwhile when a user needs both physical keyboard input and adjustable stand angles for content creation or long-form reading. Buyers who only need scratch protection or who require a permanently attached keyboard hinge will not benefit from the removable design.

Questions about this item

How much noise or heat does the Bluetooth keyboard generate when used all day?

The keyboard is a passive Bluetooth input device with no fans or moving parts, so it produces no audible noise and no measurable heat during continuous typing.

What must I already own for the KeyFolio Exact K97093US to work?

You need an iPad with a 9.7 inch screen that supports Bluetooth pairing; the folio’s magnetic basket is sized specifically for that form factor.

Will the folio’s magnetic clasp and cut-outs interfere with an older iPad model I keep?

The case is cut precisely for the 9.7 inch iPad’s ports, cameras and buttons; a different generation may not align with the openings or the magnetic sleep/wake function.
