Kensington ClickSafe 2.0 Keyed Lock

The Kensington ClickSafe 2.0 Keyed Security Lock K64435WW is a laptop lock that uses a carbon steel cable and a smaller lock head to secure devices through a Kensington Security Slot. It is built for professionals who need a physical theft deterrent for laptops and compatible devices in office or public environments.

Suits offices with Kensington slots.

This lock suits organisations that deploy laptops equipped with the standard Kensington Security Slot and want a one-step locking action after the anchor is installed. It is not for ultra-thin devices, tablets, or newer laptops that omit the security slot entirely, nor for users who require a combination code instead of a physical key.

Includes carbon steel cable

The package supplies the lock head with a pivot-and-rotate carbon steel cable that anchors to desks or fixed structures, delivered in a sealed bag without a retail box. The 5mm keying system works with Kensington Master Keyed, Supervisor Keyed, and Like Keyed options, and the Register & Retrieve programme lets registered owners order replacement keys if the originals are lost.

Questions about this item

Does my laptop need a Kensington Security Slot for this ClickSafe 2.0 lock to work?

Yes, the lock's Security Anchor must be installed into a Kensington Security Slot, which is found on most laptops.

Can I use the same keys for this K64435WW lock and other Kensington locks I already own?

The 5mm Keying System is compatible across all of Kensington's latest locks, allowing shared keying options like Master Keyed K64436M or Like Keyed K64436L.

How can I verify the lock is properly engaged after attaching it?

The ClickSafe design provides one-step security; you will feel and hear a positive click when the lock head seats onto the installed anchor.
