16.0" 16:10 Laptop Privacy Filter

The Kensington EQ Privacy Screen Filter fits 16.0-inch laptops with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It attaches using frameless tab holders that secure the filter without a permanent frame. The accessory limits screen visibility to the user directly in front of the display. It is designed for professionals handling confidential data in shared or public spaces.

Suited to open-plan and mobile workers

This filter suits users who need on-screen privacy in offices, cafes or while travelling. It is not for laptops with a different screen size or aspect ratio. Buyers who require a permanent adhesive mount or a filter with a built-in blue-light reduction layer should look at alternative products. Touchscreen compatibility is not confirmed by the manufacturer.

16.0-inch 16:10 form factor match

The single specification that decides fit is the 16.0-inch diagonal combined with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Verify your laptop's exact screen dimensions before purchase. An incorrect size or ratio will prevent the tab holders from aligning correctly. No other specification in the data determines compatibility.

Questions about this item

Which Kensington EQ Privacy Screen Filter size matches my 16.0-inch 16:10 laptop display?

Choose the 16.0" 16:10 model; it is cut for that exact diagonal and aspect ratio.

How does the privacy effect work once the filter is fitted to the screen?

The filter limits the viewing angle so only the person directly in front sees a clear image; side viewers see a darkened screen.

What attachment method does the EQ filter use and what does it require on the laptop?

It uses frameless tab holders that stick to the bezel, so a flat, clean surface around the display is needed.
