It supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 plus Surface Pro 4 through 9, Surface Laptop 1 through 5 and MacBooks M1 to M4 when a USB-C to USB-A adapter is used. The dock is aimed at desk-based workers who want a permanent station at home or in the office and only need to plug in one cable to start working.

Dual 1080p video with single-display QHD headroom

Two 1080p monitors can run simultaneously at 2048 x 1152 @ 60 Hz via the HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. A single display reaches 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz, covering QHD 2560 x 1440, so one high-resolution panel is well within limits. Adding a third screen requires a separate USB-A to DisplayPort DisplayLink adapter, which is not included. The four USB 3.0 ports deliver up to 5 Gbps each and one front port supplies 2.1 A for fast phone charging; two rear USB 2.0 ports handle keyboards, mice or printers.

Fanless design with external power supply

The unit has no internal fan, so it runs silently on the desktop. An included power adapter feeds the dock and all connected peripherals but does not charge the host laptop. A Kensington lock slot accepts compatible locks such as part K60600WW for physical security, and the dock can be mounted behind a 75 mm or 100 mm VESA monitor using the separate K33959WW mounting plate. Gigabit Ethernet and Audio 2.0 jacks complete the wired connectivity.
