Kensington K55522WW SA15 115IN PS for Surface Book 23 accessory

Kensington SA15 for Surface Book

The Kensington SA15 security accessory is designed specifically for the Surface Book 23-inch device. It provides a physical locking point to help deter opportunistic theft in shared or public environments. This new accessory targets professionals and students who leave their device unattended at a desk or in a classroom. It is not suited for users who need a lock for a different laptop model or form factor.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive mechanical accessory the SA15 generates no heat and draws no electrical power from the Surface Book. It operates silently because there are no moving parts, fans or electronic components involved. The lock body adds negligible thermal mass to the device chassis during normal use. No power supply or battery is required for the locking mechanism to function.

Sustained load behaviour

Under continuous daily use the mechanical locking mechanism maintains its holding force without degradation. The cable and lock housing are built to resist wear from repeated attachment and removal cycles. There is no performance drop-off over time because the product relies on physical security rather than active electronics. It remains effective for as long as the mechanical components stay intact.
