Kensington K64680US ClickSafe Master Coded Combination Ultra Laptop Lock

Kensington K64680US ClickSafe Laptop Lock

The Kensington K64680US is a ClickSafe combination ultra laptop lock designed to secure devices equipped with a Kensington security slot. It uses a master coded combination mechanism that allows keyless locking and unlocking for individual users or IT administrators. The cable construction follows a 7 x 7 strand pattern finished in black. This lock suits professionals who need a portable, key-free way to deter theft in shared or public spaces.

Buyers wanting a master-coded combination lock

This lock suits offices, schools or mobile workers who prefer a resettable combination over managing physical keys and who have devices with the standard Kensington security slot. It is not for users whose laptops or tablets lack that specific slot type, nor for anyone who requires a keyed-alike system for a fleet deployment. Buyers needing a longer or thicker cable than the ultra design provides should look at alternative security solutions.

Simple click-in installation with combination setup

Installation is completed by inserting the lock head into the device's Kensington security slot and pressing until the ClickSafe mechanism engages. The combination is set or reset using the master code procedure before first use. The most common issue occurs when the lock head does not fully seat in the slot, preventing the mechanism from locking. Verifying the slot type and ensuring a firm click avoids this problem.
