Dell non-standard lock slot

The Kensington K67995WW N17 Keyed Dual Head Lock secures Dell laptops and tablets that use a non-standard lock slot. A secondary lock head fits the industry-standard Kensington Security Slot on another device. IT administrators can manage both heads with a single key thanks to the 5 mm keying system.

Two devices secured simultaneously

The primary head locks the Dell non-standard slot while the secondary head uses T-Bar Locking Technology for a standard Kensington slot. A carbon steel cable runs six feet between the anchor point and the devices. Both heads operate from one keyed 5 mm cylinder with anti-pick technology.

5 mm keyed-alike cylinder

The lock uses a 5 mm keying system compatible with Kensington's latest locks so the same key opens both heads. This allows centralised key management across a fleet. Buyers who need combination codes or a different keying profile should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the N17 head fit older Dell models that still use the standard Kensington slot?

The primary N17 head is made for Dell's non-standard slot; the secondary T-Bar head works with the industry-standard Kensington Security Slot found on many older devices.

How can I verify both lock heads engage properly after installation?

Insert each head until it clicks, turn the key to confirm the cylinder rotates freely, then tug the 6 ft carbon steel cable to ensure both connections hold firm.

What comes in the package and is a separate anchor required?

The lock includes dual N17 and T-Bar heads with a 6 ft carbon steel cable and two keys; a desk anchor or fixed object to loop the cable around is not supplied.
