Memory-foam seat cushion

This Kensington seat rest uses high-density viscoelastic foam that softens with body heat and weight to mould to the user's shape. The material spreads pressure across the surface instead of concentrating it at contact points. A leather-like bottom layer grips the chair so the cushion stays in place. The cotton-polyester cover can be removed and washed.

Home-office workers needing lumbar relief

People who sit for long periods at a desk and feel lower-back ache will benefit from the pressure-dissipating foam. The cushion is a single-piece seat pad, so buyers who want a matching back support or a lumbar roll should look at a different product. It is not a chair replacement and does not add height adjustment.

14.5 by 13.5 by 2.0 inch footprint

The pad measures 14.5 inches long, 13.5 inches wide and 2.0 inches thick, so it fits most standard office chairs. Check the seat pan dimensions of your chair before ordering; a seat that is narrower or shorter than these figures will leave part of the cushion unsupported.
