16-inch 16:10 magnetic privacy filter

The Kensington MagPro K55256WW is a removable privacy filter sized for 16-inch notebook screens with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It attaches magnetically and is designed for professionals who need on-screen confidentiality in shared or public spaces.

Fits 16-inch 16:10 displays via magnetic strips

The filter mounts directly to the screen bezel using integrated magnets, allowing quick attachment and removal without adhesives. Its edge-to-edge profile covers the full viewing area while leaving webcam and sensor areas accessible on compatible devices.

Reversible matte finish with antimicrobial coating

One side provides a low-reflective matte surface while the other offers a glossy view, letting users choose based on lighting conditions. The antimicrobial treatment reduces surface microbes, and the filter limits visibility to a 30-degree angle from centre.

Questions about this item

How narrow is the viewing angle before the screen darkens?

The filter limits visibility to a 30-degree angle on either side of centre, so content stays private from anyone viewing off-axis.

Does the matte coating cut glare during long sessions?

Yes, the low-reflective matte finish reduces glare and reflections, keeping the screen comfortable for all-day use.

What must my notebook have for the magnetic attachment to work?

Your 16-inch 16:10 notebook needs a ferrous bezel or the included magnetic strips so the filter can snap on and off securely.
