130W 4.5mm Round Tip Adapter

This 130-watt AC adapter replaces original Dell chargers for XPS 15, Precision and Inspiron laptops. It delivers 19.5 volts at 6.67 amps through a 4.5 by 3.0 millimetre round tip. The unit accepts 100 to 240 volt input at 50 or 60 hertz for worldwide use.

130-watt capacity and headroom

The adapter powers systems that require the full 130-watt rating such as Precision 5510 through 5540 and XPS 15 9530 through 9570 models. It also supports lower-draw machines including Inspiron 7348 and OptiPlex 3000 to 9020 desktops. Devices needing more than 130 watts cannot be powered by this unit.

4.5mm barrel interface limits

The fixed 4.5 by 3.0 millimetre round tip fits only laptops and docks designed for that connector size. Systems with USB-C power input, larger barrel diameters or proprietary Dell 7.4 millimetre tips are not compatible. Polarity and voltage must match the device specification exactly.
