45W USB-C Power Adapter

This 45W USB-C charger replaces original AC adapters for a wide range of Chromebooks and ultraportables. It accepts 100-240V input at 50-60Hz and delivers selectable output profiles of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/2.25A through a flat-tip USB-C connector. The unit is supplied new and targets owners of compatible HP, Lenovo, Dell and Google devices.

Replaces proprietary barrel chargers

The adapter supersedes model-specific barrel connectors used on HP Chromebook x360 11, 12, 13 and 14, Spectre 12, 13 and 15, and Envy x360 lines. It also covers Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, T480 and 100e Chromebook models plus Dell Chromebook 3100, Latitude 5420, 7400, 7410 and 7420. The jump is worth it when a single universal brick reduces cable clutter across mixed fleets.

Suits multi-brand USB-C fleets

Buyers managing HP, Lenovo, Dell and Pixel or MateBook hardware gain one charger for all supported USB-C models. It is not for laptops requiring more than 45W or proprietary non-USB-C power inputs. Users needing simultaneous multi-port charging or higher wattage for gaming-class machines should look at something else.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-C connector fit the HP Chromebook x360 14?

Yes, the flat-tip USB-C connector matches the charging port on HP Chromebook x360 11, 12, 13 and 14 models.

Do I need to install any driver before the charger works?

No driver is required; plug the USB-C end into the laptop and the AC plug into a 100-240 V outlet.

Will the detachable AC cable need replacing if the plug prongs bend?

The AC cable is fixed to the adapter body, so a bent prong means replacing the whole 45 W unit.
