Universal 45 W USB-C charger
This 45 W USB-C AC adapter delivers up to 20 V at 2.25 A and steps down through 15 V, 12 V, 9 V and 5 V at 3 A each. It accepts 100–240 V 50–60 Hz mains input, making it suitable for worldwide travel. The unit replaces the original supply for compatible HP Chromebooks, Spectre x360, EliteBook, Elite x2 and Dell XPS, Precision and Latitude models listed in the compatibility data.
USB-C Power Delivery limits
The adapter provides fixed voltage steps of 5 V, 9 V, 12 V, 15 V and 20 V, each at 3 A except the 20 V rail which is capped at 2.25 A. Devices that require more than 45 W or a different voltage step will not charge at full speed. The single USB-C port means only one device can be powered at a time.
Replaces 45 W barrel or proprietary tips
It supersedes the 45 W barrel-type chargers shipped with the listed HP and Dell laptops, consolidating them to one USB-C connector. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original supply is lost, damaged or when a single compact brick is preferred for multiple supported notebooks. It does not suit devices needing higher wattage or legacy barrel-only input.
