What this charger is and who it suits

The Kenuco 45W USB-C AC adapter is a new power supply built for HP Spectre 13 Elite X2 and a wide range of USB-C laptops and Chromebooks. It accepts 100V-240V AC input at 50-60Hz, so it works worldwide without a voltage converter. Travellers, students and office workers who need a single compact brick for multiple devices will find it convenient.

Capacity and headroom: what it handles

The adapter delivers up to 45W through selectable output profiles of 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 12V/3A, 15V/3A and 20V/2.25A. It comfortably charges ultraportables and convertibles such as the Spectre x360 13, XPS 13 models and many Chromebooks listed in the compatibility data. Systems that require more than 45W or a higher 20V current will not charge at full speed or may not charge at all.

What the bundled accessories change

The package includes the AC adapter and a power cord, providing a ready-to-use connection from wall outlet to USB-C port. No additional cables, docks or software are supplied, so users relying on proprietary barrel connectors or needing extra length must source those separately.

Questions about this item

Will this 45W USB-C adapter charge my older HP Chromebook 14 models that came with a barrel connector?

No, this adapter uses a USB-C connector and only supports devices that charge through USB-C Power Delivery.

How can I confirm the charger is delivering the correct 20V/2.25A output to my HP Spectre X360 13 after plugging it in?

Check the battery settings in Windows or Chrome OS; it should show the charger identified as a 45W USB-C PD source.

Does the package include a detachable AC power cord for the wall outlet?

The supplier description lists the adapter and power cord together, so a mains lead is included in the box.
