Universal USB-C Laptop Charger
This 65W USB-C power adapter supplies 45W or 65W through a single USB-C connector. It accepts 100-240V input at 1.3A and delivers selectable outputs of 5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 3A, 18V 2.25A and 20V 3.25A. The unit is designed for laptops that charge via USB-C Power Delivery.
Compatible Models and Limitations
The charger fits many HP Chromebook, Spectre, Pavilion, EliteBook and Elite x360 models plus Dell Latitude, XPS and Chromebook series and Lenovo ThinkPad, Yoga and Chromebook Spin devices. Laptops requiring more than 65W or using a barrel connector cannot use this adapter. Buyers whose machines need a higher wattage or a proprietary round tip should look at something else.
Output Power Rating
The maximum continuous output is 65W at 20V 3.25A, with a 45W mode also supported. This single figure decides whether the charger can replace the original supply for a given laptop. Check the device label to confirm its required wattage before purchase.

Questions about this item
Does this charger require a USB-C cable, or is one built in?
The charger provides a USB-C output connector; a compatible USB-C cable is required and is not included in the supplied unit.
Will the 45 W output profile charge my Dell Latitude 5420 that normally uses a 65 W adapter?
The charger negotiates 5 V 3 A, 9 V 3 A, 15 V 3 A, 18 V 2.25 A or 20 V 3.25 A; the Latitude 5420 will draw up to 45 W from the 20 V rail, charging more slowly than with its 65 W brick.
How can I verify the charger is delivering the correct voltage to my HP Spectre x360?
Use a USB-C power meter inline with the cable; it should show one of the negotiated voltages (5 V, 9 V, 15 V, 18 V or 20 V) matching the Spectre's active charge profile.
