What this charger replaces

This 65 W USB-C AC adapter supplies power to compatible HP Spectre, EliteBook, Envy, Chromebook and Elite x2 laptops. It accepts 100-240 V input for worldwide use and delivers up to 65 W through a single USB-C connector.

The voltage your laptop negotiates

The adapter provides five fixed output profiles: 5 V at 3 A, 9 V at 3 A, 12 V at 5 A, 15 V at 4.33 A and 20 V at 3.25 A. Your device selects the profile it requires, so the charger also covers 45 W models that use the same connector.

What fits around it

A USB-C cable with the correct tip plugs directly into the laptop; no proprietary barrel jack is needed. The unit replaces the original HP part numbers listed by the supplier and leaves the laptop’s other ports free for peripherals or docks.
