Universal 130 W USB-C power adapter

This adapter delivers up to 130 W through a USB Type-C connector and accepts 100–240 V input at 50–60 Hz. It provides fixed output voltages of 5 V, 9 V, 15 V and 20 V with a maximum current of 6.5 A. The unit replaces the original charger for compatible Dell XPS, Latitude and Precision laptops. It is intended for users who need a direct replacement for a lost or damaged 130 W USB-C supply.

Replaces 130 W, 100 W or 65 W USB-C chargers

The adapter covers the same power envelope as the original 130 W, 100 W and 65 W Dell units listed in the compatibility data. It matches the output profile required by models such as the XPS 15 9575 2-in-1, XPS 15 9500, XPS 17 9700, Latitude 7410, 7310, 7210, 9410, 5420, 5520, 5320, 5411, 5510, 5511, 5310, 5410 and Precision 5550, 5750, 3560, 3550, 3551, 5530 2-in-1. The upgrade is worthwhile when the original charger has failed or when a spare is needed for travel or a docking setup.

Handles 130 W peak load

The supply delivers full 130 W output for demanding workloads and charges the battery at the rate the laptop firmware allows. Built-in protections guard against short circuit, over-voltage, over-current and internal overheating. It will not suit devices that require a proprietary barrel connector or a higher wattage than 130 W. Buyers should verify their laptop’s exact part number against the listed compatibilities before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-C connector fit my Dell XPS 15 9575 2-in-1 charging port?

Yes, the adapter uses a USB Type C connector sized for the XPS 15 9575 2-in-1 and other listed Dell models including Precision 5550 and Latitude 7410.

What is the correct order to connect the 130W adapter so the laptop negotiates full power?

Plug the AC cord into 100-240V mains first, then insert the USB-C plug into the laptop; reversing the order can leave the system at 65W or 100W instead of 130W.

When should I replace the AC cord or the adapter if the USB-C cable frays near the connector?

Replace the whole 130W unit if the fixed USB-C cable shows exposed wires or the brick overheats; the AC cord is detachable and can be swapped separately if only the mains lead is damaged.
