Floating 10.1" touchscreen receiver

The Kenwood DMX1038S is a single-DIN multimedia receiver built around a 10.1" high-definition capacitive touchscreen that floats above the dashboard on a 4-way adjustable panel. It targets drivers who want a large display without modifying a double-DIN opening and who rely on smartphone projection for navigation and media.

Wireless projection limits

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto depend on the phone’s Wi-Fi hardware and the cabin’s radio environment; connection stability can vary with interference or distance. The receiver also offers wired projection via USB for situations where a cable provides a more reliable link.

Four camera inputs for safety systems

The unit provides four camera inputs with support for high-definition front and rear cameras plus a dash-camera link, making it suitable for vehicles that need multiple viewing angles. Buyers who only require a single rear-view camera may find the extra inputs unnecessary.
