6.8" Capacitive Touch Receiver

The Kenwood DMX50S is a new double-DIN digital multimedia receiver built around a 6.8" WSVGA capacitive touch screen. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto for hands-free phone integration. A single-DIN short chassis measuring 3-3/4” deep allows installation in most vehicles without extensive dash modification.

Thermals Noise Power Draw

The unit draws 2.1 A from its front USB port for device charging and delivers 3.7 V preamp outputs to front, rear and subwoofer channels. A 13-band graphic EQ and digital time alignment are processed by the onboard DSP. No active cooling fan is present, so cabin heat and airflow determine operating temperature during normal playback.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Continuous Full HD video playback and simultaneous smartphone mirroring keep the processor and wireless modules active for long periods.
