6.8" WVGA Capacitive Touchscreen Receiver

The Kenwood DMX709S is a multimedia receiver built around a 6.8" WVGA capacitive touchscreen. It targets drivers who want smartphone integration and expanded audio control in a single DIN opening. The included CMOS-230LP1 backup camera adds rear visibility immediately.

Compact Short-Chassis Design

A short chassis eases installation in tight dash cavities and frees depth for wiring harnesses. Three dedicated camera inputs allow front, side and rear views without external switchers. Three 5.0V preamp outputs send clean signal to external amplifiers, reducing the need for line-level converters.

Upgrade from Basic Single-DIN Units Without Camera

This package replaces stereos that lack touchscreen control, smartphone mirroring or any camera input. The jump is worthwhile when you need Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Android USB mirroring and a backup camera in one install. It does not suit buyers who require a double-DIN screen size or built-in navigation maps.
