This kit suits vehicles requiring a short-chassis receiver and a licence-plate-mounted camera with multiple perspective options. The 13-band EQ, digital time alignment and three 4.0V preouts support detailed audio tuning. Builders needing a larger display size, different mounting format or a camera without the supplied 24.5' harness should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How often will the CMOS-320LP camera lens need cleaning to keep the 195° view clear?

The waterproof CMOS-320LP camera has no moving parts; occasional wiping of the lens with a soft cloth is all that is required.

Which component reaches its limit first during a long drive with Android Auto Wireless active?

The receiver’s 4.0 V pre-outs and 13-band EQ run continuously without thermal throttling; the wireless link typically drops before the hardware overheats.

How much heat or noise does the short-chassis DMX8709S produce when running all day?

The compact chassis has no fan; it stays warm to the touch but silent, drawing only the current needed for the 6.8" display and three camera inputs.
